Back to School Drive/Health Fair

Our Back to School Drive/Health Fair consists of our annual community day. It’s our biggest event of the year and most successful because of the hundreds of individuals we serve! First, our Back to School Drive consists of giving free backpacks and school supplies to children ages pre-K to college. Also, we provide free clothing and food to families. Our Health Fair consists of volunteer providers and nurses that provide health screenings to individuals in need including: Blood sugar, blood pressure, health education, and referral to free mammograms/pap smears for women underinsured. Also, we provide appointments on that day so individuals that need a follow up with a provider can schedule an appointment at the Place of Hope Clinic.
